B'nai Tzedek: Kids who care

B’nai Tzedek is a philanthropy program for young people, consisting of children and teens who have created endowment funds in their names to benefit organizations and causes that are important to them.

B’nai Tzedek is founded on the fundamental principle that tzedakah is a cornerstone of a meaningful Jewish life. In Judaism, tzedakah denotes far more than just a passive act of charity. Tzedakah is a lifestyle: it’s about serving instead of taking; it’s about standing up for what you believe in amd it’s about changing the world. By empowering teens to engage in philanthropy, fundraising, community service and social action projects, B’nai Tzedek aims to foster a vibrant community of young, involved Jews who are committed to the true value of tzedakah.
