EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Summit (President, First Vice-President, Past-President and. if applicable, the incoming First
Vice-President) is responsible for :

  • The recruitment and orientation of the Executive Director (ED)
  • His/her compensation package and review of expenses
  • His/her annual performance objectives and review
  • His/her succession plan
  • Reporting to the Board on the status of the above
OTHER EMPLOYEES

The ED is responsible for:
  • Recruitment and orientation of all employees
  • Their compensation packages
  • Their annual performance objectives and reviews
  • Their job descriptions
  • The application of mmployee policies as set out in FEDERATION CJA’s Employee manual
  • Communicating the above to the Summit who may report to the Board salient issues

HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) MANAGEMENT POLICIES


The JCF adopts the FEDERATION CJA Employee Manual as its own and the procedures and policies therein are applicable to JCF staff.
