Professional Development Seminar 2011
Focus on special needsSome 150 professional advisors – lawyers, accountants, notaries, insurance brokers and other financial professionals - attended the Foundation’s 2011 Professional Development Seminar.
This year’s program addressed issues involving clients who have special needs – a field which is growing rapidly, according Barbara Novek, co-chair of the JCF Professional Advisory Committee (PAC), which presented the conference.
“The theme resonates with many of us,
as we are called upon with growing
frequency to assist clients faced with
caring for elderly parents
or for children with permanent
and often severe disabilities
who are unable to care for themselves.”
Barbara Novek, Jamie Malus, JCF president Barry Pascal, senior vice-president Joel Segal, Marilyn Piccini-Roy, Samuel Dergel
